In honor of CTE Month, the SWWC had their first official signing for work-based learning with Dexter student, Dominic Dougherty, and Germaine Honda's Brad Stegemann with Mrs. Jody Gielinski, Mrs. Mary Visel, and Mr. Tim Timoszyk overseeing the event. 


                   S.W.W.C. Student Building Trades Program, Inc.

                                            Scholarship Program

The S.W.W.C. Student Building Trades Program, Inc. is a non-profit corporation established to provide technical assistance and advice to the South and West Washtenaw Consortium Building Trades Program, in which the Chelsea, Dexter, Manchester, Milan and Saline Public School Districts participate.  One of the corporation’s goals is to provide scholarships and awards to student participants in the Building Trades Program to foster and encourage further career and technical education in construction and the building trades. To that end, the corporation has established the “S.W.W.C. Student Building Trades Scholarship Program”.

Our Mission Statement

We, the member districts as the South and West Washtenaw Consortium, shall best educate students together in areas where individual districts cannot do as well alone. The Career and Technical Education component of the South and West Washtenaw Consortium empowers its students to be productive members of a changing technological world. The students are provided with the knowledge necessary to achieve the requisite skills, positive attitudes, and work habits to meet those goals.
